Paving the path to a brighter future: Living Life to the Full during and post COVID-19

The Autism Wellness Foundation has formed an exciting new partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario, to provide Living Life to the Full (the

“Course”) to people in our community.

The Living Life to the Full is an online course that can be a valuable tool and when the skills learned through the program are applied to real life it can promote positive mental well-being for Older Adults 55+, Seniors 65+, Caregivers and people in need of mental health support during and post COVID-19.

What is Living Life to the Full course:

Living Life to the Full is a fun and engaging eight-week course that provides people from all

walks of life with effective tools to maximize their ability to manage life’s challenges. The group-oriented course is based on the principles of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) which focuses on understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours work together to impact well-being.

LLTTF course has been developed by a leader in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). The

sessions are based on the Five Areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model

developed by Dr. Chris Williams—an expert and trainer in CBT and Professor of Psychosocial

Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow. As recommended by Dr. William the

virtual course is focused on the program booklets and will be provided by CMHA, Ontario, to participants free of charge through our partnership with them .

Our goal is to reinforce the learning during the sessions and give participants a better understanding of how the various tools can be applied in their life.
